Felt Roses

SHARE
After reading A Curse So Dark and Lonely, I was inspired to make felt roses. You can use them in your hair, on a hat, as jewelry or even a mobile for a baby’s room.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Scissors
Felted Wool Sheets (The color options from Benzie is amazing!)
Hot Glue Gun
Plastic Fork

DIRECTIONS
1 For the best results, don’t use a pattern. Strange I know, but hand cutting them gives them the unique look of roses.
2 Cut 4 smaller petals.
3 Cut 6 larger petals.
4 Starting with the small petals, place hot glue on the lower 1/3, using a plastic fork roll it into itself to make a tube. (Be careful not to burn your fingers).
5 Place hot glue on the lower 1/3 of the next small petal, alternating where they begin and end on the petal before until all four small petals are used.
6 Place hot glue on the lower 1/3 of a large petal, alternating where they begin and end on the petal before until all four small petals are used.
7 Whether you use them on a wreath, mobile, or in your hair have fun!
